| Warranty question on Bravo? Hi, i purchased a new Bravo 150 tjet Sport at the end of May 2008. No issues with the car (absolutely great!!! ). HOWEVER!! Received a letter a few weeks ago regarding my 1 Years AA Membership having been set up. Also on the same letter it stated that my warranty has also been set up BUT it stated only 3 years (?) and not the 5 years. Also stated 3 years or 60,000 mile.![]() So, got on the phone to Cust Services and asked them to explain as i told them it should be 5 years surely? Bloke on the other end said he would check and after about a minute and taking some further details said not to worry as i DO have the 5 years. Now a couple of questions - Should i call back and ask them to put this in writing to me? and Bloke asked if i had paid full price for the car, why should this make a difference and has anyone else had a similar experience? THANKS IN ADVANCE

Thanks: 6 Trader Rating: (0) Drives: | Re: Warranty question on Bravo? Did you buy the car at Cost price...and was it ordered and bought brand new? or did you get a discount on the car and it was pre-reg? Fiat will only honour the 5 year warranty on cars paid at cost price and ordered new from them. Any pre-reg cars only receive the 3 year warranty as the first owner is actually the garage you bought it from. This is what happened in my case. Car was still on the boat from Italy when I bought it, but it had been bought as part of a mass shipment by Arnold Clark. So when it came into the country, it was transported to the dealership I bought from, registered and then it was signed over to me the very next day! Ludicrous I know! But yeah, i would ask them for something in black and white stating the 5 year warranty. Saves any arguments once the 3 years is up! I just got my letter today stating the same...3 years or 60,000 miles. i wouldnt worry too much unless you do over 20,000 miles in a year!

| Re: Warranty question on Bravo? the car was ordered and bought brand new - definitely not pre-reg - from Thames Fiat and waited approx 3.5 weeks for delivery. When ordered salesman confirmed the 5 year warranty as well. So i am also the 1st owner. As for mileage, i probably would only do about 10,000 per year. But yeah, will call them back to request a letter confirming unlimited 5 year warranty - just to be on the safe side.
