(G) Reprogram Bravo Key

Hi,

I've been having problems with my key and have discovered that the switch is broken. I have bought a couple of keys of ebay but I need to program them. Does anyone know how to to this or point me to a site that does?

I have got the red key and the four digit code as well. I've got a 98 Bravo HGT.

Hi, you posted on the wrong section mate, but deosn't matter, I think the only way you can re-program ur key is take them to Fiat dealer I'm afarid.

need 1 orig key remote control
4 digit code for remote
ensure that alarm emergency is switched on if fitted

ensure remote is at least 40 cm from receiver

press button fig 1 for 2 secs, led will flash whilst bgutton is pressed
release botton fig 1
after approx 2 secs led will flash once
enter first digit of code by pressing button the number of relevant times
after approx 2 secs led will flash once
enter next digit of the code in the same way

in digit in code is a zero after the single flash do not press button but wait for the next request to enter digit

repeat for all numbers

if the code is entered correclty led will flash for 10 secs
if wrong led will remain illuminated for 10 secs


whilest led is flashing
press and hold button fig 1
led will continue to flash
press and hold button on new remote until led remains illuminated
release button on new remote
release button fig 1
red led
if correct led flash 6 times
if wrong 18 times
green led
if carreid out correctly led will flash 1 to 8 times
if wrong illuminated for 5 secs

surely a legend would reply within the first 2 months


then again, if the OP cant post in the correct section they cant expect a reply.
