Bravo Warranty Lenght

Hi, i was under the impression that all bravo's had 5 year's warranty on them!

The one i am buying was registered september 07 and the dealer has said it only had a 3 year warranty, therefore just over 2 years left.

Anyone shed any light on this?

Re: Bravo Warranty Lenght

As of 01.01.2008 FIAT gives 5 years warranty on the Bravo“s. But it depends on the coutry / importer.
In some countries this is the case, - in the UK i believe, but here i only have 2 years - Faroe Islands (Via Danish importer).
But the warranties that FIAT can allow in other countries gives us some assurancies in the make, - the cars are not that different in european countries, and if the FIAT factory can live with it, - i can too!

But the 5 years are only from 01.01.2008 (in some countries)...

Re: Bravo Warranty Lenght

The 5 year warranty is only available on Bravos purchased directly as new from Fiat.

Any pre-reg cars arent covered by the 5 year warranty.

For instance. I bought a car from a dealer which was actually still on the boat from Italy. It was paid for by me whilst it was on the boat. It then came into the county, was transported to the dealership I was buying it from, they then registered it and the next day I went and picked it up. I am therefore only entitled to the 3 year warranty because I bought th car pre-reg rather than direct from Fiat. I did however get a bit of a discount!

And as already stated, Fiat only started introducing the 5 year warranty on ALL cars earlier this year!
