Has anyone else had the plastic locking button snap from underneath the carpet in the front of there Bravo, both plastic buttons have sheered off when i slipped as i tried to get in the car to do some cleaning:(:bang:
The plastic buttons have broken, falling underneath the carpet.
Gave my dealership a call about a month or more ago about getting 2 new plastic locking caps for under the carpet but seems they don't want to sale just the buttons and want to sell a whole carpet with the buttons resulting in hundreds of pounds rather than a few pence for the plastic caps, this according to my local dealership is telling me what Fiat in Italy are telling them:eek:
They must sale them separate surly,or does anyone else know where i can get them, its the plastic locking buttons underneath the carpet that allows the mats to snap into place.

Here in Czech Republic, I bought recently five pcs of those caps. They costed 0,5 € each.
When I accidentally discovered I lost one in the dashborad I came to my Fiat dealer and showed him on my Bravo what I am looking for. He identified the cap in the spare parts system and ordered them. Next week I have had them. This part is a standard spare part and there is no reason or justification for buying the whole carpet. I suggets you go back to your dealer and hammer him :D

Thanks for the info, I gave them a call a little while ago to confirm a low mileage service so while i was on the phone i told him about the bits i am still waiting to hear about, they said they could sale me some mats for £31 !! I said to the guy i am not paying for new mats i dont need new mats, he then went on to say they don't sale them parts separately here in the UK, bit stupid if you ask me but thats one way to get more money out of you i guess.
They said they would try and do something for me when it goes in for the service.

Yes, I forgot to mention that foremost the dealer looked for those bits in garage but even no one piece was there. Therefore he ordered them but I remember he said such parts are usually on stock in their service garage because the bits are oftenly used when doing repairs on damaged cars.

You could also use that type of material one side is platic and on the other side is fluffy material (i have no ideea how it is called in english), it has both back sides sticky and put one on the carpet and another one on the floor.
If I find an image i'll upload it
