Picking up !50 T-Jet Dynamic Tommorrow

Hi Guys,
I'm looking forward to picking up my Bravo tommorrow. It will be my third Fiat on the trot . Hoping for much better handling, performance and drop dead gorgeous looks

Should make the nosey neigbours curtains twitch any way.

I arrived to pick my car up from The Car People in Manchester as per my appointment on Saturday afternoon after arranging the price, financing etc 10 days earlier. This is a 45 mile trip from my home at the tail end of the M60. Went through my Stilo's paperwork as I was part exchanging it and then they hit me..... I'm sorry but we appear to have ''Forgotten'' to process your finance ( That I thought had been put in place to process 10 days earlier)

I was absolutely LIVID . The manager could only say this was a clerical error and unfortunately I would not be leaving with my Bravo.

They offered me an extra £50 (Joke) by way of compensation for my wasted journey and fuel. I told them this didn't even begin to make for totally ruining what should have been an exciting day for me. I also said if I was unable to collect the car on Mon then they could keep it and I'd buy it from a more professional car dealer.

I will be ringing them shortly to see what they are sorting out.

Re: Picking up !50 T-Jet Dynamic Tommorrow

Here are a few phots of my Bravo in Sympony Blue

First impressions as follows

Good points. Looks
Interior and dash
Bluetooth and Me works fine with my fone
Handling
Engine power and throttle response

Bad Points
MPG 27.1 with a light right foot. Urban with a short motorway run to work.
Stereo volume max level 10 is not loud enough

I have fluid leak dripping from the underneath/ rear of engine bay onto drive. No sign of coolant loss so might be aircon system.

Overall pleaed with my purchase although the fluid leak is worrying me.

Overall pleased

Straight back to the dealer to sort it out

Re: Picking up !50 T-Jet Dynamic Tommorrow

Bravo looks great, mpg on mine is only 24 at the moment, although its going for its first low milage service next month so maybe it will run a little better after that.
Might be best to let the dealership know about the leak, perhaps take a couple of photos of the actual leak so they can see the area where it is dropping from.
Im sure you will have many miles of enjoyment with the car, it still feels like the first day i got to drive it every time i get into my car

Fluid leak is very likely the air-con, especially if it seems to be coming from the very rear of the engine bay. I noticed dripping from my multijet, just air-con condensation.

Re: Picking up !50 T-Jet Dynamic Tommorrow

Hellcat is right.

The fluid leak is just condensation from your air conditioning. My dynamic does it all the time, get comments from people 'yer new cars leakin'!'.
Try running the car without the aircon for a while, shouldn't get any leaks.
