Reversing sensors wiring/bumper removal

Hi,
Just moved over from the stilo section having purchased a 150 diesel. Will be getting it remapped ASAP up to 190, I would imagine this to bring 0-60 times into the early 8s but am doing it more for driveability than performance.

Does anybody know if there is wiring in place for reversing sensors? I am contemplating purchasing the Fiat Bravo designated sensors direct from fiat, unless somebody can tell me if there are better ones.
Also, in order to do this, I need to remove the rear bumper - can anybody help out in this area?

thanks
Steve

Re: Reversing sensors wiring/bumper removal

Thanks Stephen01,
I have tried tonight and they are nothing like those on the grande punto. There are, as far as I can make out, 4 screws holding the bottom section (black) of the bumper on. Removed these, nothing. Removed plastic piece inside boot and there appears to be no screws there to remove. Tried removing the tail lights to see if anything was there but after removing 2 retaining screws it wouldn't budge.
Any assistance here would be really appreciated, even a picture of a loose bumper so I can at least see where the securing screws go. Nothing on Eper to help so am working in the dark and not very successfully
Thanks
Steve

Re: Reversing sensors wiring/bumper removal

Couldn't see any screws on the wheelarches when I looked. Have had the tail lights out now and nothing to unscrew there although there looks like some kind of clip. looking through the manual for light removal it would appear that reversing/fog light bulbs aren't changeable by owner and that car needs to be taken to FIAT DEALER FOR RENEWAL Thought the issue of changing bulbs had moved forward from the stilo with the Bravo not taken a backwards step although must keep on topic on this one.

Thanks, don't know why the manual says fiat only for this.
Thanks for info on screws. Couldn't see any, as mentioned, when I looked. Do they lie behind the inner covers? I could see plastic clips, but no screws.
From memory, would you know where any other screws are or is that it, tail lights out and unhook clips and that should be it. I'm sure I'll do more damage but then my reversing is rubbish as I can't turn my neck properly.
Many thanks

Re: Reversing sensors wiring/bumper removal

no they (the screws) will hold the inner shield on.....they might be located in the recesses.
