New owner looking for a Induction Kit

Hi everyone

I've just recently bought myself a new Bravo 1.4 Active Sport after falling in love with my sons Bravo when he bought himself one earlier in the year.

After making the decision to buy a second car for myself with the 'my significant other half ' taking full ownership of our main car I fell in love with my sons Bravo and decided to join the Bravo club

Anyway to date there has been not a problem at all and now I am on the look out for an Induction kit for it. I may be older but I like my cars to sound and look good!!

Anyway can anyone suggest through experience what to go for? I've seen a few threads on here that seem to give the GSR kits a big thumbsup and I've used K&N's and BMC CDA's in the past?

Look forward to hearing from you all and sticking my nose into other peoples problems too

Re: New owner looking for a Induction Kit

We like GSR here as the kits he makes take the filter to a decent place with plenty of cold air... unlike the K+N which usually just has an adapater to fir the filter straight to the throttle body. Aparently the filter itself isn't actually too bad - it's mostly the fitment which leaves it sucking in cold air.

I doubt that you can be considered older here. You are just middle aged. And in any case, the more seasoned the better and the more seasoned the more childish we get.

Hi.

Yeah I wasn't to pleased with the K&N either. I eventually went with a BMC CDA and had intended to do the same with the Bravo. But then I seen these GSR's and thought mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

It's not something I've spoken to him about... what goes on the end of one of his fancy silicone pipes?

I like to think I am in my prime. That's what I keep telling myself anyway

Oldschool I notice you have GSR in your sig? Do you work for them or are you just advertising lol. Anyway maybe you are best to ask about the kits?

Even worse than this. I own the blooming company. This means my testimony is biased.

But I can offer one thing: If you are not happy with the performance increase I take it back and you get your money back (I hope you are not the first one to do this. lol).

Re: New owner looking for a Induction Kit

I've read a few threads comparing the GSR to the BMC CDA!! Seems the GSR is proven better

As a result I've decided to go with the GSR!!!

Last time we had an Apexi on the rollers it lost power against the standard airbox.
