Thats where I thought they were but couldnt see them in the pic! I thought i was looking for somewhere new that the LHD cars had them placed!

Worst place ever for them anyway...I've got to try and bend my arm round bottles if I have them there to try and change gear!

Re: Just picked up my Fiat Ritmo this arvo :D

Well two weeks today and i've clocked 2300k's in my new Bravo (doh i mean Ritmo!). So much fun to drive, really really really really comfitable... The woman has been able to see her mum in brisbane more times in the last 2 weeks than the last 3 years since my last Fiat died of unnatural mechanic causes.

The ONLY thing thats annoying is the rear partial shelf vibrates a bit... gotta find a way to get it to stay still..

Hi Norc, Not many fiats in Australia. This is one car though that I really like. I think overseas they are a Bravo but in Australia for some reason it is the Ritmo? i know its weird. I have an old 1985 Regata in Sydney. Keep in touch and let me know how the car goes.

Yeah it's called Ritmo here because the Bravo name is already taken by Mazda in Australia.

If they couldn't use the Bravo name, perhaps they should have called it Brava instead? It's better sounding name than Ritmo IMO.

Troy.

Its coming along really nicely... its had its brakes rebuilt, transmission rebuilt, engine has been rebuilt... the only thing that hasnt had to be touched up so far is the body work, no rust anywhere! Still tryin to find some interior parts, needs some dash panels and also door panels.

Had her running the other day and my god she sounded beefy... mind you i upgraded the exhaust. I will post some pix up shortly.

As for my Ritmo, she is purrin like a kitten! 15,000ks and running super smooth as can be. Rear shelf still rattles a bit... but not as bad.

I nearly brought myself an old 85 regatta a few weeks back, saw an old red one for sale but couldnt remember the mobile #. I loved my Regata back in the day, she was a blast to drive to sydney in.
