| Wish I had sports seats | Car opened all windows by itself! A friend knocked on my front door to tell me that all of the windows on my new Bravo were open and it's raining! Sure enough all 4 windows were all the way down much to my horror! I quickly closed the windows and dried up the water that had entered the car.So how on earth could all of the windows opened by itself? It's either a freak electric fault or, somehow, something in my pocket pushed on the "unlock" button on the key fob which I keep in my trouser pocket. The button needs to be push down for a good 6 seconds for the windows to open all the way. I originally thought this was a cool feature of the car, but now it's a seriously risk to the security and condition of the car. If my friend hadn't noticed the open windows I'd hate to think what damage could have been caused. So be warned everyone!

| Wish I had sports seats | Re: Car opened all windows by itself! The windows won't open fully with 1 press, you have to keep the key fob button pressed down for 2 seconds to activate the windows and a further 4 seconds for them to fully slide down. I can't remember if the doors were unlocked. Memory is pretty vague while panicing!

I suspect you've just sat on the keys unluckily the wrong way and it's opened.

| choose petrol choose revs | Re: Car opened all windows by itself! Like Stu says, I had this a few times with my Stilo; all down to the key fob being pressed against the arm of my chair at work. Funny thing, if I wanted to do it from my front window at home, it wouldn't work, yet it did it a work through a reinforced concrete floor and a couple of thicknesses of masonry...
