Hi,

I am about to order it, but I can't find any answer with the fuel consumption. I don't have "heavy foot" so it shouldn't be a problem, but can anyone tell me, what is his MPG ? Is it bellow 30 Mpg (above 8l/100km) ? I mean real data, not what is stated in the manual

Thx

Let's suppose it consumes 10l/100km and not 8. If you do 20000km a year you will consume an extra 400l of fuel and that is 400EUR. This means you spend about 35euro more per month. That's 1 dinner at a restaurant with the girlfriend.

So what does it matter if it consumes 8 or 10 ? :)

It matters to me. My Tipo 1.4 consumes 7l/100 km and that's old engine. No way I'm gona buy new car with consumption of 10l/100km. Not with todays fuel prices.

My mate had a T-jet 120 Bravo as a hire car for a few days & he said he was getting 34mpg on the computer. I believe he did a manual calculation which worked out at a similar figure. The car did have only 2000 miles on the clock at the most.

Very true chris, i keep forgetting that once again, the pendulum has swung into petrol's favour. So i apologise.

I've had my brand new 1.4 16V T-jet 120 for a week now and so far it's average mpg is 35.5 miles per gallon and that is with a mixture of steady and faster drving and to be fair most of it has been town and country driving. Love the car to bits. Hope that helps.

If fuel ecconomy and cost is the be-all and end-all of your car experience buy a 2nd hand, 1.3 multijet panda.

Although previous cars may have had better mpg, they were lighter (less safe) and more polluting. Weight and emmission controls have reduced MPG faster than technology can improve MPG.

Checked consuption for a 150 mile run yesterday. mjet 150 returned 51.6 mpg according to the onboard computer. Mixture of motorway and town.

Consumption for stop start running (and I mean stop start!) around town is about 37 mpg
