New Seat Ibiza or Fiat Bravo ?

Hi,

My sister is going to buy a new car for herself and right now the option seems to be the new Ibiza 1.4/85CP almost full option. The other option we found recently is a Fiat Bravo Sport 1.4 T-Jet 150CP in Ruby Red (almost full option too). The Bravo costs about 1800-2000 euro more than the new Ibiza, but as you know size-wise its a class above.

What would you advise ?

bravo deffo.i think the ibiza looks dull and its a dated car now.i supose ul get better build quality as its a vw under it but the bravo is a bigger car if thats what u want and in my oppinion much better looking. if you want a rare car though the ibiza is quite rare. i still choose bravo though

My workmate's 4 years old and 27k miles Leon need a new gear box, still think the seat is better quality? think again!!

I think build quality is similar. They probably share quite a few components anyway with bosch fuel injection bits and pieces.

Personally I'd say for the money the Bravo is the better value car. Comparing the two the Bravo has nearly double the BHP. I'd suggest she tests drives both and chooses the one she likes best. If the bravo is for her she'll chose it. If not then perhaps the Ibiza will feel more like her.

Case closed...Ordered the Fiat Bravo T-Jet 150 Sport In Maranello Red, of course (the color present in most pictures) It costs 17.500EUR tax included, after a 2000EUR discount. It has a 5-year warranty.

Was going to say go for the Fiat. I have had 2 Seats before. Ibiza Cupra and Mk2 leon sport. Although very good cars. They seemed to lack the spirit and soul of Fiats. Must be an Italian thing lol

Look at the design of the Bravo and compare with the new Ibiza, and interior detail aswell, there identical.

The new Ibiza looks pants compared to the Bravo. I really did not like the interior of the latest Leon, very dark and quite stark. The Ibiza doesn't look as bad! I think I would go for the Bravo

That is not the new Ibiza. Where have you been in the last 3 months ?

Hmmm thought there was a newer one - Parkers doesn't have it on it's site.

Probably just me but I think they look very identical, especially the shape of the dashboard

looks pretty much the same to me! I've been on here, a Fiat website not a Seat one! Is the New Ibiza released in Europe?
