Big trouble

Well just got my car back from the dealers.

Turns out that my flywheel was buckled which inturn was causing my engine to sound like a bag of spanners, along with the joy of armwrestling to change gear.

Not being funny but ***WTF*** surely this should not happen on a brand new car????

Oh well its fixed now, i just hope that this does not turn out to be another friday car like my grande was

On the upside Grays Garage of Warwick were superb. Friendly service along with a full valet for my trouble. 10000000 times better than the bunch of monkeys at research garage in Nuneaton

Re: Big trouble

Yes it was always warped.

I bought it brand new from Grays in march of this year.

My Bravo is the 1.4 t-jet (15o bhp).

Bit of a weird one really. I never really noticed it tbh. The gears were always stiff and i just thought thats the way the car was. I was showing the car off to some work colleagues when I noticed the engine sounded really ropey. Took it to the garage where they diagnosed the fault (by sound lol) as a possible faulty clutch return bearing. Turned out to be a warped (buckled) flywheel causing the issue.

All fixed now and seems to be working a treat. Its a shame really as this is the first issue that i have experienced. Unlike my grande, which in one year was in the garage 20+ times.

Re: Big trouble

Yeah, I had the same issue with my GP. Grays have been fantastic and would thoroughly recommend them. Have ordered my new Bravo 150T-Jet Dynamic from them and getting it on 1st Sept...can't wait.
