(T) Water in boot

Hiya people just a quicky got a 150mjet dynamic two weeks ago, first fiat i have owned seems to be alot of car for the money. But just want to know if anyone else has had any water ingress in the boot i seem to be getting a little on the boot ledge everytime it rains which seems to be alot this month?

I get water inside my boot door but not in the boot itself. You can hear it sloshing around whenever I open or close the boot. Had the problem since new with no side effects thus far, fingers crossed.

I opened the boot the other night to get a waterproof jacket out of it... In the 10 seconds it was open it took on enough water to sink a battleship.

Other than that, and the squirter nozzle popping off over winter I've not noticed any water ingress.

i'd ask dealer to look at rear wiper seal.

Thanks people for your response,rained like hell last night and today, had a look this evening and no water on the inner ledge so will have to see.
Once again thanks this seems to be a very helpful site. The car is still great to drive and nice not to be in something that everyone has got.

I also noticed that during washing water can come into the back of the car. the water seems to come from the brake light on the top of the rear window and not from the rear door sealing... any ideas if there are any rubber sealing there?

My dad had water coming in somewhere by the boot on the o/s, straight to the dealer!!! They spent an hour pouring water on the back of the car it started to drip on to the parcel shelf! They took the car in and said they would have to take roof lining off and investigate. Next day it was fixed!
