(G) Bravo Sat Nav Unit

Hello again,

I have a chance of buying a Bravo Sat Nav Unit from Italy.

Obvious questions,

Is unit compatible with UK?

Is unit same size?

Basically can it be fitted with my car in UK?

Id imagine it would fit, however there are no uk maps. So unless your going to move to somewhere in europe its not much use.

Would be cool to have a look tho lol.

I think you will find uk maps here on the otherhand there dosent seem to be any

Been doing some diggin and I believe that the map CD from one of the latest alfas may work on the bravo nav +

Also I have spoken to a few sellers in Italy who inform me that these units will fit in any bravo and the language is selectable from the unit itself.

The other issue is the CAN bus detecting the radio as non standard (smart equipment) this can be gotten round in exactly the same way as the stilo owners did on theres (a power delay). Or you can put up with the flashing mileage clock.

Anywhos ive managed to get a couple of piccies of the rear of the nav + in the bravo.

Im now trying to source a removal key for the standard bravo stereo so I can have a butchers.

So what software system is used in the new Bravo? I personally thought it was connect +.

If we find out I could do some research in Italy.
