(G) GSR! Joke!

Well after contacting OldSchool over 5 weeks ago to place an order for my GSR induction kit I'm still waiting on it!!

At first he was waiting on raw materials to arrive before he could make the hose for me and told me it would be about a week and he'd keep me informed. After a week I had heared nothing from him so contacted him again to which he replied and apologised for 'forgetting' to post the kit out and that he would do right away and I'd have it for the Monday! It still never came. this went on about three more times with him telling me that he would post it and that I would have it on a certain day

Eventually, now getting very pee'd off with bein messed around, he changed his tune and told me he had posted it and that I should have it. He then told me he would check with the couriers and get back to me.Well no surprise I've heard nothing yet again!!!

The guys a joke!!!!

First time trying to get one of his apparently 'excellent kits'!!!!!!! I won't be using again or recommending to anyone!!!

its a one man operation and made to order, give him a brake
if he employed some one to sort out customer service side of things the kits would cost more.

I wouldn't have minded if he'd been honest and told me the truth about having to wait. I've told him that. But it's the fct he told me on a number of occaisions that he'd posted it tome and t expect it only to then admit he hadn't posted it!!

If he had told me on day 1 sorry but it'll be 5 weeks or whatever then I'd of waited happily! But the fact th gus been a complete idiot throughout is what pee's me off the most!

He may not be able to have a decentcustomer service set up but being decent and honest to those who want to buy his kit is a must if you ask me!

Thanks to Augusto the kit wasn't send out, which I am happy about Dave, because this guy is extremely rude, arrogant and insulted me. I wouldn't bother with him. He is now also banned from Red Dot.

great kits..! but these kinda threads keep popping up tbh, but its worth the wait even if the customer service aint great, still nowhere as bad as raggazzon..

everyone else seems happy, if their kit is late they normally post up a friendly thread asking if anyone can help and pnl or some one else tries to chase it up. normaly all gets sorted and evey one stays friends

I've no doubt others have been happy. I've also no doubt his kits are excellent kits. But I chased it up wit him direct and what bugged me was the lies he told, more than once.

Like I said. If he had been honest and told truthfully that it would be a number of weeks then fine. I'd have waited. But to just lie constantly that the kit has been sent to me and that I should have recieved it when, as he has just admitted, it has never been sent out, is a poor way to conduct business.

But of course I'm the bad one for simply chasing up an order and getting pee'd off at being consistantly lied too.

but if he has given the kit to some one to post so its done, and then that person forgets to tell him he didn't do it, how is he lying? its more just a mistake

Three times a mistake? Three times I was told it had been posted. Three times it hadn't. If I was giving it to someone to post and they kept forgetting then I think I'd make sure it was done myself rather than just letting the guy continue to let my customers down.

But hey I'm always going to be wrong. I'll wait until you order something from somewhere online and they just keep forgetting to post it and see how long you put up with it before getting upset.

hand made kit one man firm i would expect it to be 6-8 weeks minimum. i would also keep all contact with them civil

You just don't seem to get this

I'm not questioning how long it takes! If he'd been honest and told me it would take 10 weeks then fine. I'd have waited happily. But the fact he kept telling me it had been posted and to expect it on a certain day only for it not to arrive is what annoyed me!

Fine the first time someone forgot to post it. But just to keep claiming he would post it and never do. Then the icing on the cake is to claim I must have it as he had definately posted it out. Then I start thinking he's going to think I'm trying to have him on or start wondering what has happened to my kit. Only for him then to admit on here that the kit had never been sent out at all

None was meant but I was very pee'd off at the situation and the constant messing around I was recieving.


I'm sure many hve sent direct emails to someone before who you have ordered something from only to not recieve it when it was stated you would on a number of occaisions. I'm sure you would have been happy to if they'd told you it would take as long from the start butbecause they hadn't kept to what they said on a number of occaisions got annoyed at them too?
