i need a towbar, i asked a couple of local companys how much it was and they are around £230 which is fine but they are not removable and both the companies said that you can get removable ones. i know that this is wrong but is it worth having a removable one? has anyone got a picture of a bravo with a tow bar they had fitted?

What's wrong about getting a removable one? Means when it's not on it's not spoiling the looks and covering your knees in hitch grease!

Brink classic are one of the best removable ones. I fitted one myself on a Marea - was an interesting experience but I'd just pay someone next time - careful if they're doing any drilling that the holes are rust-proofed.

you dont drill newer cars they are pre drilled to meet EEC regs most now involve the removal of the rear bumper stiffener bar and the towbar bracket slides into the chassis and the holes are already there...

It depends what you want a towbar for the Flange ball (normal) towbar allows you to fit many different accessories such a as bumper protection plates, anti snake bars, cycle carriers and allows you to replace the ball with a special one if you have the likes of an Alko Kobre anti snake friction hitch

where as swan neck or detachable are more aesthetically pleasing but you still see the socket/s

heres the brink swan neck on my GP..
