| Wish I had sports seats | Clutch pedal - metalic clang I didn't notice anything wrong with my clutch until I collected my car from my dealer after some non-mechanical repairs. When I push it down all the way (as per a normal gear change) it hits the floor and emits a moderately loud metallic clang sound - like metal against metal. I know nothing about the mechanics of the pedal but if there was a piece of rubber on it before I went to the garage - acting as a dampener - then it's now missing. Before I go back and complain like a paranoid perfectionist (I think they already hate me!) does everyone else have an almost silent experience with their clutch pedal? Thanks.

| Re: Clutch pedal - metalic clang I know nothing of Bravos, but clutches should be silent: period.

| Re: Clutch pedal - metalic clang Mine is quiet, but then I'm not surprised there are metallic clangs, having noticed the brake lash up under the dashboard whilst installing a hidden 12v socket for my satnav! There is what seems to be a bit of scaffold pole (unpainted, complete with messy welds) connected to the brake pedal transferring the effort to the master cyclinder which obviously has not been moved for the RHD conversion! Not sure it's the same arrangement for the clutch (not even sure if it's cable or hydraulic)
