Bravo Key Question

I've searched the forum and nobody has asked this question.

I picked up my Bravo on Friday, when I collected it from the dealer we were given 2 keys the switchblade key (with central locking and boot release) and a normal key.

My question is as I'm sharing the car with my wife there was some dispute over who should get the better key (petty i know, but you know what it's like) does any body know how easy it is to get a second switchblade key and how much it costs.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Bravo Key Question

You'll need to take the car and the reomte (switchblade) key to your dealer who can programme another remote your car.
I did this for my old Stilo earlier on in the year as me and the wife had the same argument and didn't get much change out of £160.00!

Re: Bravo Key Question

ePER seems to show two keys, one is £36.01 the other, (described as c/telecomando) is £120.32. I bet the 'telecomando' bit refers to remote control...

Add a few quid for the dealer to programme the key etc and you can see where the £160 Bru mentioned comes from...

Re: Bravo Key Question

Thanks for the help - I think at £160 I might just have lost this argument!

Re: Bravo Key Question

I was just wondering the same, but for £160 - forget it! There probably isn't more than £20 of electronics in there so to supply just 1 is rather tight. Toyota and Peugeot have always supplied us with 2 main keys plus a spare without the electronics.
