| Noise in second gear Hi all Bravo dynamic 57 plate 5000 miles 150 BHP Mulitijet JTD Has anyone experienced a whining (spinning) type noise very noticeable in second gear when accelerating hard? When I hear it I can’t make up my mind whether its transmition noise or just boost and engine noise any idea’s guys Regards Kelvin W Former Stilo 115bhp JTD owner

 | Re: Noise in second gear As you say it happens when accelerating hard, it sounds to me like it's the turbo... (although turbo's do tend to make more of a high pitched whistling noise to my ear!) Has this noise just come on or are you listening out for it now you've detected it?

 | Re: Noise in second gear Accelerating hard a make higher pressure inside the combustion chamber, the louder the noise, so the Unijet system combines very high injection pressures.
