Remap on T-Jet 150?!?

Any news on a re-map for the t-jet 150 yet? If so, any ideas on the performance increase. I've not got mine yet, but should be here in a couple of weeks!

Re: Remap on T-Jet 150?!?

We have just done the GP T-Jet, which shows only small increases in power, but massive torque increases.

The 150 T-Jet has got a bigger turbo and it might be possible to extract considerably more power, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is much more needed than a re-map.

But you are welcome to come to Watford when you get your 150 and we see how much more we can extract realistically.

Re: Remap on T-Jet 150?!?

I've just received an e:mail form Angel Tunning,

They have quoted £350 inc vat and estimate a 35 bhp and 45lb ft increase!

Sounds good to me!

They claim similar on the GP T-Jet but can they deliver? An estimate is absolutely useless. Where are the dyno graphs to back it up?

Get it on the rr do a before and go from there custom made and finally you get an after graph as well. You then drive the car and tell us whether you want to have it changed and if you don't like it we set it back to standard free of charge. Otherwise we will let you off with £200.

Re: Remap on T-Jet 150?!?

Rolling roads mean nothing unless calibrated each time and there so easy to doctor its untrue. Just because a graph shows you some pretty results does not mean thats what your getting!

I for one would use Angel Tuning! Top guy helped me out no end and has even offered to do my Bravo free of charge!! (He did my Grande originally). If your not happy within a week of getting it done they will return and place your car back to normal and give a 100% refund.

Angel Tuning came and put my old car back to standard before I sold it for free as well.

I know who I would pick!

Angel has tuned my Bravo T-Jet 150bhp. Happy with the results!

Surely it's preferable to rely on your chosen experts using thousands of pounds worth of professional equipment (right under your nose) rather than synisism

Hi oneoneeight, What power and torque did you end up with?
What is it like to drive now?

I am told at least 30bhp + 45 Nm.

Some real time results (0-140kmh):

Before Tuning: Lost to a Stilo Schumacher

After Tuning: Matched the Stilo Schumacher with some struggle

After Tuning 2000km + BMC CDA: Creamed a Stilo Schumacher. It wasnt running away from the Stilo but just creeping away.

The Stilo Schumacher had a Supersprint catback but otherwise stock. 2-3 runs everytime. Low end torque is tremendous!

And a company who has done zero testing themselves on a rolling road or anywhere and is just relying on what they have been told by the software providers you trust them instead?

Surely you shouldn't trust anyone as it has to be easier and cheaper to lie than to fake a rolling road graph.

Please refrain from allegations. If your mind is corrupted to not automatically assume that other's minds are too.

i love how you guys are givin a load of crap by salesmen and belive over people who actually know their stuff,
all remappers give full refunds if not happy as well.
if your going to go with a map that is mass produced then you may as well but the equipment off ebay for £50 and do it your self, you will get the same non existent gains, or bad mapping that will have too much smoke.

come to one of our rolling road days where you are allowed close up view of everything that goes on, not told to go stand over other side of workshop like over places
