Re: ford to take on fiat bravo

Bravo? The Fiesta is a b-segment car, it would be competing against the Grande Punto rather than the Bravo.

Re: ford to take on fiat bravo

They have a gross green one in the current issue of Auto Express so I didn't take much notice, but the red one in that video is sweet. Looks like what a 3-door Bravo would look like. I think I just ordered the wrong car! Nice alloys, not sure about the interior though. Pink. Haha.

Re: ford to take on fiat bravo

The designers spent time looking at Italian ladies...?

More like took time looking at Italian cars. That rear end with the exception of the lights is just bravo made smaller.

This car is a direct rip-off of the Grande Punto. Plain and simple

Re: ford to take on fiat bravo

I don't like it and this is just a prototype,......which always looks more impressive than the production car......so....

Re: ford to take on fiat bravo

It most certainly is a Punto rip off...especially with the "the makers of ford got young Italian ladies..."

Heh.

Luke.

Re: ford to take on fiat bravo

Anyone else think that car looks massive considering its segment?

Ridiculously big, theres no such thing as a small car these days

And yes, blatant Fiat rip off.

We all know Ford make good cars, but most of them are bland/repmobiles.

The only cars on the road that look like that are the Fiats, obviously where inspiration has come from.

I think you've lost 'Focus' here

The Bravo has nothing to do with this cars existence. The B-Segment Grande Punto has which is also directly responsible for how the Bravo is styled

Re: ford to take on fiat bravo

Go back to 1996 and you'll see where the style of the Bravo is from. Original curvy Bravo with its circular tail lights, round haunches etc.
