| 1.4 16v and T-Jet engines Are all three engines (1.4 16v, T-Jet 120 and T-Jet 150) the same except with the case of the T-Jets a turbo stuck on and in the case of the 150 over the 120 a bit more tuning to the engine to get a little more (well 30Bhp more)?

| Chasing Cars | Re: 1.4 16v and T-Jet engines Nope they are different. Same engine block yes but different parts internally. According to eper, different crank, con-rods and pistons too IIRC. Also have different coil packs. And then there’s the fact you would need to change the ECU etc to handle positive intake pressure. It would be easier to transplant the whole engine and ancillaries to get it working than mess about moving parts over.
