First week vital stats

Well a week has past tonight since I drove my lovely Bravo off the forecourt.

And what an enjoyable week it's been
It's also a coincedence that tonight I used up the first tank of petrol I filled up with last week when I picked her up give or take a litre or two to be exactly a full tank used. so..........................

A few vital stats for those who may be interested........................

1.4 16v

No thrashing it about etc just normal daily driving etc

From a full tank (Shell standard unleaded) used up of maybe 60% motorway miles at 70mph-75mph and 40% of town driving at 30mph-40mph I got the following:

538miles.
41MPG.

Average Motorway consumption has been around about 48-50MPG cruising at 70-75mph both manually and with the cruise control on.(When I checked on the instant update consumption reading on the trip comp')

Average Town consumption has been about 35-40MPG (When I checked on the instant update consumption reading on the trip comp')

The cars only done 547 miles since I filled her up last week so I am still breaking it in but it gives people an idea of what to expect if they're thinking of buying.

Any other question I can answer

Not had a problem on the motorway at all. Very smooth. Has the feel of a big motorway cruiser like the Mondeo or Laguna etc. Stick on the cruise control and sit back and enjoy the drive lol

I plan a 379mile trip down to my dads this weekend (Glasgow to Bury St Edmunds) and i'm looking forward to it after my experience of it on the motorway this week.

Glad you're enjoying it. I'm coming upto 10,000 miles since I bought it and still loving it as much as the end of the first week.

How would you say it drives around town? Quiet? Nippy?

Yeah nippy and very quiet. It's a great car for driving around town in as it's small enough to get in and out of small spaces but not too small that the BMW 3 series brigade just bully you outta the way lol

Overall it's a fantastic car!!

Things looking good for the JD power survey providing the dealers can improve their impressions on customers.
