Ipod

Is there a lead or set-up available for connection of an Ipod to the new Bravo?

I don't have the Blue&Me Headunit so don't have the USB socket for connection of the Fiat Ipod Cable.

Is there a lead that can connect to the AUX in the back of the unit?

I'd also prefer to have it charge the Ipod too whilst connected as well as be able to control (even if just basic) the Ipod rather than having to select songs via the Ipod.

I know a couple of you may recommend the Itrip FM adapters but I'd prefer a hardwired set-up as I had in my previous car as these are far better in quality than using the Itrip.

Regards

Re: Ipod

Ne1l,

Have you found a reasonably priced solution to connect your Ipod/Iphone to your Bravo stereo system. I am looking for a solution, but so far nothing acceptable.

Please let me know @ wvloosbroek@gmail.com

Re: Ipod

Nothing yet.

I may take a trip to my local dealer this weekend and see what they have to say as I have a few other things I'd like to find out about too.

I'll keep you posted

Re: Ipod

Ive got a Dension Ice link in my Alfa and that works quite well. It was around £95 and charges it up aswell. The user interface isnt that great, you use the CD changer buttons to select 5 different playlists. Sound qual is good though.
You will need to find out if the Fiat ones available are compatible with the new Bravo

I think, like me, noone wants to go installing aftermarket headunits and ruining the look of the lovely Bravo interior.

If that was the case I'd have kept my pioneer headunit which had ipod functionality the lot.

I'm just about to head to Fiat. I'll let you know what they say/suggest

Re: Ipod

I never got out my bed early enough today and the dealers were closed by the time I got there (1pm )

I'll drop in on the one I pass on the way to work on Monday morning and ask about the ipod.

Let ya know!

Re: Ipod

Do we have any update on this? I keep seeing the selection "aux" when i press the source button on the stereo and i am thinking there might be a solution to this! Does anybody knows the stereo brand of Bravos sold in Greece? thanks

Re: Ipod

Me too - I'd be interested in knowing if there is any iPod/iPhone lead to directly link to the AUX input on the standard CD/tuner head unit?
