How long did you wait for your bravo

Ok i have just been to the benfield fiat dealer and ive paid in full for my fiat bravo but ive been told it will take 10 to 12 weeks to recieve it as there is none in the country. So my question is how long did you have to wait for your fiat bravo.

Re: How long did you wait for your bravo

Can't remember, just over a month I think. Depends what options you got for. Mine had to come from factory as there were none available in the spec/colour I wanted. This was near launch though - maybe they've got busier since?

Re: How long did you wait for your bravo

I ordered mine on the 30th June and picked it up on the 26th July. About a month. Not bad to say the dealer told me the car was in the country and woudl take 10-14days!

Re: How long did you wait for your bravo

I was told 12 weeks for my 1.9 multijet sport - I did go a bit mental with the options list though (electric rear windows, sunroof, dual zone climate, dusk & rain sensors, parking sensors and lentiucular Maserati blue paint), so a factory order. 4 weeks into the wait and I'm still really excited.

Hoping they can beat 12 weeks, but I want it on an 08 plate, so not in that much of a rush...

Re: How long did you wait for your bravo

I have some questions.....
1. Is driving the Bravo as good as the way it looks ?
2. Is there automatic or steptronic transmission for Bravo? or it is manual only?
3. How big is the boot size? compared to the grande punto for example...

Thanks for answering....

Re: How long did you wait for your bravo

Boot = 400 litres. That's as big as a Rover 75 estate.

Depends which model you buy as to how it drives. The 1.4 16v will be ok but nothing too exciting, the 1.4 turbo seems to be giving people a lot of fun. The 1.9multijets are a bit more grown up (more weight) but still fun.

As far as I know Bravo is manual only.

Re: How long did you wait for your bravo

just thought id let everyone know. my fiat bravo should arrive in 2-3 days which im really suprised as i was told it would take 2-3 weeks. I cant wait.

I have some questions.....

2. Is there automatic or steptronic transmission for Bravo? or it is manual only?
3. How big is the boot size? compared to the grande punto for example...

Il let you know when i test drive my bravo but what ive been told it is a excellent car to drive.

2. Is there automatic or steptronic transmission for Bravo? or it is manual only?
Im afraid the bravo only comes with manual at the moment but who knows it might in the near future come with automatic.

3. How big is the boot size? compared to the grande punto for example

well lets put it this way you will be able to get 3 asda trollie fulls in it and still have room for a subwoofer. Its actually twice the size if not more then the fiat punto.

I had to wait just over a day to find out if my bid was successful ;-)

Re: How long did you wait for your bravo

4 days, I was impulsive and bought the Sport the dealer had been sent. Luckily nobody had even sat in it when I signed for it (except me of course ).

the delay is due to the fact that it's hard to tell when all the different pieces of the car will arrive at your dealer
