My first post

Hello everyone, Well I have a few questions about the bravo 1.4 16v active car.

first of all does anyone have any pictures of inside the car,
Is the car any good to drive,
have you had any problems of the car,
Does anyone have pictures of the car in symphony blue

please can you post the pics on this topic.

I am just interested as i have just past my licence on monday and paid for the fiat bravo 1.4 16v active car at my local dealer. well I think you all know what happens when it is your first car. you just cant wait to get it.

I thank all that post.

I've posted photo's of my Bravo there.

It's a 1.4 Active Sport rather than just an Active like the one you have bought but maybe it'll give you an idea as to how it looks in general.

Did you buy the car without seeing it or if you put it on order without seeing a similar car? That's unwise but with the Bravo your buying a great looking car and so far I've not had one problem at all with it. You've made a good buy!!

Re: My first post

I had a brava 1.4. Did 98k in it before trading it in for a stilo. During the time I had it I replaced rear brake pads once, front pads twice (new discs at second change) , a new rear silencer, and a few tyres - one rear tyre did 63K !. Timing belt replaced at 60K as service item. No other major repairs - but I did have it serviced regularly by a guy who knew how to do it properly. Build quality of car was good, handled well,One of the best cars Ive ever had - and Ive had a few, including 15 Fiats to date.

He's posted in the Bravo section so I'm assuming he's buying the new Bravo rather than the older Brava.

Agree though I've had three Fiats in the past and other than the usual brake pads timing belts I've had nothing go wrong.

Re: My first post

If you want an 08 plate then couldn't you refuse to register it with the DVLA for a few weeks? Slip the salesman £50 and ask him to drive it to your house using trade plates and leave it on your drive until you register it.

That's what I did when I imported my own car a few years ago, except I had a 30 day European plate to drive with.

Re: My first post

to be honist im really not bothered on what plate is on it. The way i see it is im hoping to use it for at least the next 8 years and by then people will not really be bothered on what plate is on it. As long as i have proof that the car is registered in 2008 i dont think many people will mind. Mind you i did get a very good deal on it. I only paid 11600 on it as I knocked the dealer down from 12295. All im bothered about now is trying to get it asap as i start a new job soon which is 110 miles away from where i live.
