My New Bravo

The day has finally arrived!! Im picking up my 150 t-jet sport tomorow, at 9.30 am!!!
Very excited!!! My local dealer has been very helpful, above and beyond the call of duty, What I mean by this is that when I ordered my car, I ordered it with, Tango Red paint, Parking distance control, Dual zone climate, MP3 CD and Electric rear windows. When I first saw the car in the flesh I decided that I should also have ordered the 18" wheels, "Too late" I thought?
My dealer had another new car in stock with 18" wheels and very kindly offered to change them over!
Just had to pay the £250 they would have cost me in the first place!
I will post some pictures of my new pride and joy as soon as I can.
Just got to get through a sleepless night like a kid on christmas eve!!
Can't Wait!!!!!
Andy.

Re: My New Bravo

Excellent, please post some pics - wouldn't mind seeing what Tango red looks like in comparison to Maranello.

18" - fantastic move! You won't regret it!

Good move on PDC and Eleccy Windows, one awesome car you've got coming!

Enjoy!

Re: My New Bravo

Very very nice, I remember mine being in the showroom!

Does the cover come included?

Nice colour, not a bad alternative to Maranello.

Re: My New Bravo

Nice car matey.

18's do look the part.......just wonder if they affect the handling as badly as they do on the ALFA GT?

I see FIAT are doing the Bravo on 3 years 0% with 5 year warranty till end of March.......hmmmm....tempting.

Enjoy.

Re: My New Bravo

Glad you like it and thanks for replying,
Bought my car for Lipscombs in Aylesford because its nearer to work,
And of course they did me a cracking deal.
The 18"s have no affect on the handling, no bad affect anyway!
I have to say Im very very happy with my new car.
I'll keep an eye out for you, bluebravo, on my travels
The cover I was informed is around £400!!!
I didnt buy one.

Re: My New Bravo

Looks great, enjoy I'm sure you will !!

Just a one thing to add, and not to put a downer on it, but when you said they changed the wheels to 18's it did ring an alarm bell in my head, and a bit of researh does reveal the following...

"IMPORTANT The use of 225/40 R18 92V tyres requires specific technical measures to be adopted. For this reason, this tyre may only be ordered at the time of vehicle purchase. Do not install this tyre after vehicle purchase." owners manual page 222, hope the dealer did 'adopt the technical measures' maybe worth just checking to be safe.

Didn't think of that . . . the Bravo uses a different steering rack for 18" alloys, think it may be worth a phone call!

Re: My New Bravo

I did mention that at the time, The salesman said the cars with 18"s had some sort of rack limiter which they would fit at the same time, but I will check it out.
I have tried the steering on full lock and nothing rubs so I guess they must of fitted it?
