Bye Bye Stilo - Hello Bravo

Went to Arnold Clark's the other day to get my bonnet cable fixed on my Stilo and ended up ordering a new Bravo!!!

Wanted the 150bhp 1.4 petrol in crossover black, but there wasn't any available.

Ended up ordering the 1.9td 150BHP subject to a test drive tomorrow.

Never driven a diesel, and don't really know what to expect, and was looking for some reasurance from fellow fiat drivers. Have I done the right thing???

Stilo was a good car - 3 door active sport '04 plate with only 11k on the clock. I thought the £4,500 trade in was very reasonable and the Bravo was too nice to turn down!!!

Re: Bye Bye Stilo - Hello Bravo

1.9 multijet sport? dynamic or sport?

No issues at all with the engine and gearbox. They're exactly what you would expect from a quick car. Plenty of torque to drag you around and enough gears to make it useful. I've had plenty of Fiat diesels and this one is the best so far for everything except a sort of refined power delivery - that's only beat by the 5 cylinder 2.4JTD but that's got an extra cylinder and is therefore cheating

Have to say congratulations to the salesman...

Bravo is a great choice, if there is a petrol version there to test drive, it might be worth trying both, either of which is great, diesel will be more economic, a little noisier on idle but you will get that on any diesel, but you do have the bigger engine, although the 1.4 is more powerful than people think.
Which ever you decide to go for its a great car

Re: Bye Bye Stilo - Hello Bravo

It is the 1.9 sport that I have chosen.

Petrol version was my first choice - but had to have it in black, and there wasn't any - only the active sport with 90BHP.
