| Re: Performance Clutch for Bravo T Jet I doubt they'll be available for a while- the T-jet has a unique clutch with a dual-mass flywheel (similar to M-jet Diesels) requiring special tools to fit. The friction plate diameter is slightly smaller than the M-jet, but the spring load is the highest of the range, so it should handle a fair bit, especially if the standard clutches in remapped Grande M-jet's are anything to go by.

| Re: Performance Clutch for Bravo T Jet changed the clutch on my 156 (it could not handle the lovely remap) which had a dual mass and that was no diffrent to fit that a normal clutch (with a pull rather than push bearing). the only thing to watch out for was that the play in the flywheel is within bounds. Incidently i took it to a "specilist" before deciding to change myself who said without a doubt the DM flywheel was shot too and was going to cost ~£500 for the flywheel and an extral £100 to fit. Taking the clutch replacment to £1200 for another std clutch. In the end brought an uprated one from ebay for £80 from a small company and fitted myself without changing the flywheel (took 2 days to do) but turned out there was nothing wrong with the flywheel done 5K ish mile before i traded the car in for my bravo.

| hot hot tamale! | Re: Performance Clutch for Bravo T Jet How could they tell it was shot without having the gearbox off? My local specialist can't tell me how it is until they get the thing open. Unfortunely both I've had done needed it - it was obvious that they needed it - loads of play, and not just rotational.

| Re: Performance Clutch for Bravo T Jet Personally we always mention a quote for the "worst case" scenario (clutch and flywheel) so that the customer is fully aware of the potential costs. If it's not needed, then great- the customer goes away happy with a lower bill that what it could've been. Normal JTD clutches with dual mass flywheels need no special tools to remove, but I can assure you the T-jet DOES.
