Typical, should be a free update lol unlike the updated owners handbook at £11.25 cheeky bleeders, still thats another discussion discussed in another thread

I certainly feel that us owners who 'took the risk' and bought them early should at least be given the chance to purchase an extra 2 years warranty. I'd prefer if us leading owners were given the extra 2 years free for being there for Fiat when they launched.

If it covers ANYTHING in the 4th and 5th year, it will be more than what's currently available.

Here here I think they should give us a free upgrade to 5yr warranty as we were there in a way in a testing phase for the later owners

I disagree, yes it is a bit of a bummer but it's their choice - if they feel that offering a 5yr warranty will help boost the Bravo's awful sales, then go for it, but they shouldn't need to do the same for us. It's like mobile phone contracts, they are always getting better but people who have taken out a contract don't get it matched 4 months down the line.

Luck of the draw. And the Bravo's cost has risen £500 across the range recently, well since I bought it, so I'm happy. And the fact that they're offering a 5yr warranty goes to show they think this car will last or else they'll be costing themselves money.

Actually if a better contract does come out then I do get it matched. Or I go else where.

Just think that the most important method of advertisement is word of mouth. Nothing beats a personal recommendation. It can't help but improve their image if they extend it to their proven customers.

I'm not saying they have to... but might be a publicity coup, especially now while there will only be a few months of owners to include.

Well what they could do then is to perhaps send out some offers by post to upgrade it to 5 yrs, that way everyone with the 3 yr warranty has a choice whether to take the offer up

They should do at the end of the 2nd year . . . we got it with both Stilo's. You never know, they might offer it at a discounted rate . . .

It looks like a quater 1 marketing campaign. The offer is only open until the end of March 2008.
