Owners Handbook

Having looked through some bits in the owners handbook i noticed it gives you engine values for all the 1.9 multijet engines but the 1.4 it only shows the 90 bhp one, no t-jet mentioned
I know these are just for refrence really but would have been nice to have the t-jet in there as well.
I guess they all have the same info, wonder if they are going to update the book.

Re: Owners Handbook

Unfortunately the T-jet arrived late in the Bravo's development (they were even unable to give us technical data for the turbo 1.4 at the Bravo training day, although the cars were available to test-drive) and the manuals were probably written-up well in advance of the launch.

No doubt they'll revise them eventually, perhaps with just a supplement.

Hi Rich,
Just gave Fiat a call and they told me they haven't got any details of an updated handbook, only the 2007 one which covers 1.4 16v and 1.9 8v & 16v Multijet engines, no update to include the t-jet engine specs
Have you got an address where you going to get yours from.

Re: Owners Handbook

Just go into your local FIAT dealer and ask them to order you a manual: Part Number is 60381209.

This manual has had Modification 11798 ("New Use and Maintenance Booklet for Update following 1.4 TB (Turbo Benzina) Introduction") applied.

It is the actual owners handbook that comes with the car, just want to make sure before i ask them again, it isnt a maintanance manual you are talking about seeing as there is a part number there.
I will note that and tell them that there is an updated book, and i would like them to order it if it is the actual owners handbook.

Well i gave them a call and they told me if i really want them to order that they would do so, but i will be charged £11.25.
Great isn't it, so to get the up to date info on the handbook you have to buy it.
They will not do it free of charge for me, and told me you wont get it under a warranty claim as well
Forgot to add, any future updates in the owners handbook if you need them you will have to pay for.

If they're saying that I'd log a complaint with FIAT Customer Services - afterall, the handbook supplied isn't fit for the purpose it was sold for (you would have paid for it in the cost of the car).
