remapping

Has anyone had experience of remapping the 1.9 jdtm? does it improve the feel of the car much?

Re: remapping

Hello,

Try Angel Tuning. Apparently they get good results for this engine. I have a 120 mjet diesel and am seriously thing about the re-map.

Good luck!

Re: remapping

Thanks for that Bru i have been speaking to Alfanige, just wondered if there were any problems etc, like clutch slippage or brakes not being up to the job etc?

Re: remapping

I've been speaking with the local agent for Angel Tuning and they are saying usual day to day driving shouldn't show any extra wear but if you drive everywhere flat out then you probably will see an increase in wear.

What car/engine do you have.

Their re-map for the 120 / 150bhp Mjet engine gets and increase of approx +45bhp and +60 ft lb of toprque which is a cracking increase.

good luck!

Re: remapping

Hey Bru, come and have your Bravo done and we will do the Stilo 1.6 for free :-). If you come to Leeds I would love to try a COLD feed induction kit that will cost about £75 at the end of the day which should produce some superb power over other ****e we have taken off cars.

Re: remapping

Hello Nige,
Sounds very tempting but unfortunatley the Stilo has had to make way for the Bravo. I willl be coming to see the guys in Leeds in the new year regarding the re-map but not too sure about the induction kit as the car is only 4 months old.
Thanks again!
