(Done search already) ASR light in the button

Noticed the small led light lit up on the ASR on/off button and asr disconnected info on the small computer panel in the dashboard earlier on, i hadn't touched at all to take off the ASR function so i pressed it again and it said on the panel ASR now connected, the other thing now that i notice is when i start the car the led comes on for a few seconds then goes out like the other ones do when you start the car, it never used to do that, does this sound like something that needs to be checked out or does the same thing happen to you other Bravo owners.

Re: (Done search already) ASR light in the button

Can someone with anther Bravo just tell me if the led light in the ASR button that is under the sport or city button, comes on when you start the car but then goes out the same time as the other lights that are situated in the speedo and rev counter once the car is started.

Thanks Jordan for the reply.

I contacted FIAT they seem to think that should happen as part of the diagnostics when starting the car, Only if the light was staying it would mean there is a problem, what i cant understand is why it decided that the ASR would be deactivated when i started the car the other day, and i had to press the button to switch it back on.
As i said I'm pretty sure that the led light never used to briefly come on when i started the car but now it does, to be honest the guy at the service desk who i asked at the FIAT service dept didn't really seem that sure of the answer, he told me they couldn't check the ones they have at the moment because they are not sports models

ASR light comes ON during the glowplug warmup phase. Goes off after a few seconds.

Thanks Hellcat, maybe i inadvertently pressed the ASR button the other day while i was polishing the dasboard, this could of been the cause of the ASR being switched off.
At least i know now that it is not a fault.
