Sub in new bravo

Hi, recently stripped my loyal nearly to the end fiat bravo 1.4sx of all its ICE, after picking up my new bravo 1.4 t-jet sport.

I dont mind the speakers to much in the new bravo but they struggle when the bass is turned up. would just like to hook up the sub to the system, but don't know how?

My previous head unit had a sub out so i could control the output level. just want to know if it is possible to hook it up to the new system before somehow removing it.

I know this is a ICE thread but since the car is so new, I can't find any threads on it.

Any help appreciated!

PS: In the sound system handbook it mentions something about a 'Interscope Hi-Fi system' which has 8 speakers with subwoofer & muli-channel amp anyone know where to get this or if it is even an option for the UK

Thanks

Re: Sub in new bravo

Best ask a dealer I'm afraid. Not many of us have had our head units out. Think I'm the only person who's had an issue with their h/u but even that was fixed with a software tweek of one of the onboard systems.

Its the same unit as the Stilo so head over there and your questions will be answered!

The interscope system was not available in the UK - again, it's just like the Stilos, but is a Bose branded system.

Similar to the Bose system often found in the high end Alfas?

The very same . Although I don't think it's compatible with Blu&Me, I may be wrong . . . I'll look into it after work.

Just for the record.
'Interscope Hi-Fi system' and Blue&Me are compatible. Got both in mine.
The sound is good, much more "punch" than the original sound system.
