Hi guys,
As you probably know i am buying the ex-demonstrator Bravo Sport 150tj, what i want to know is, as i have paid a deposit on the car, legally what would be my rights as to the sales guys still letting it go for test drives, if someone had a ding while testing it, would i have to accept the condition it would be in when i paid the full amount or could i ask for one the same that is brand new, or just have to wait for them to do a repair, i am a little worried now as i think until i pay full amount at the end of sept my car will still be let out for test drives,

Best thing is to phone them and check. You agreed to buy the car as it was. Not with another 100 miles on the clock. If they agreeed to sell the car it means they have agreed to stop using it as a test drive.

Paid a deposit last saturday, I am waiting for the sales guy to phone up as this only just occured to me about it still being let out for drives , when i took the photos of it the other day i noticed it was still in the testdrive bay:( but the guy i am dealing with wasnt there at the time, but i am going up saturday to check it out properly, just hope he doesnt let some smart arse go and thrash it down the motorway before i pick it up, I woundn't be a happy bunny if i find any stone chips or signs of the engine being thrashed

They never do, unless you have something they have... like the £400 they accidently refunded me. Got a call every few hours!

You will have to call them back, it will take a few tries but eventually you'll get your 5 minutes.

Tried calling him couple of mins ago, still busy they say:bang:
Hope this isnt a sign of things to come:cry:

Both times I have decided to buy one of the demo cars, they have taken it from the showroom or forecourt and put them in their car compound, until the delivery time, With Demos from what I'm told they have a 60/90 day thing with Fiat and only can the car be sold after the demo period, unless the Fiat rep authorises it as fine to sell before.

Finally got an answer back, so i will let the guy off lol, the car has now been took away from the testdrive bay as they are expecting some other ones to be delivered in a few days for demo use.
He did tell me a couple of young blokes asked if they could go and take it for a test, but he told me they had no intention of buying one.
Anyway at least it is not out on show now;)
