Hi all,

I bought a R reg Bravo 1.9TDS a few weeks ago, on Saturday I took my mate on holiday but on my way back my clutch went to the floor and I had to call out the RACas it would not come back up and it stuck in gear.

He managed to get it pumped up again and topped it up with fluid, he said my cylinder was leaking fluid but it will get me back home as long as I take it easy.

I have searched the net but can't find anything relating to prices of cylinders, I can't remember if he said master or slave, I will have to pull the piece of paper and find out, but whilst I am online can anyone give me a guide as to how much I would pay for either a master or a slave? Is it a big job? I am needing to go back and pick my mate and his family up this coming Saturday and I am currenlty without a car!

I also know nothing about mechanics so would have to get someone else to do it, that is why I am asking if it is a big job?

Cheers in advance guys.

Cheers for your advice mate, after you told me they were so cheap I decided against the scrappy. Too much hassle to save a few pennies, so I went to express motor factors and got a brand spanker for less than £30. My mate will fit it for a few beers.

Once again cheers mate, and howay the lads!
