neons

Ok im buyin two powerful 12" neon lights. Where is the best place in a brava to put them. I want to get the effect that the entire of the interior is lit up. But like can i stick them on the roof. Does coppers not like that or what. I want the best effect with less pull overs.

HELP!

Neons are best hidden. A better effect is gained when you only see the glow from the tube rather than the tube itself. Best place to put them is under the dash and use replective car mats :D

Sweet dude but sadly i already have realy expensive car mats. Sporty not reflective. Im thikin of sticking these two bars on the pilars on the sides of the car. This means they are hiding behind the front seats and are able to glow the front and back doors. Bo thanx fore ya help. Knowing me in my daft stage i would stick um on da roof.

You would be better off sticking them low down in your car. If they cant be out of view totally stick them on either side of the centre console surrounding your gear knob. My original ones were mounted there and they give off loads of light from there

Ive got one of the neon tubes but the currer lost the other one i wont get it till wednesday. I hav tried putting the tube everywhere incudeing the centre bit. its not glowin my rear and also its shining in my eyes. after a few beers and much pondering, i hav put the neon on the roof inbetween the two handles, u know above the doors. It is very bright with just one but looks od one sided so im definetly fixing the other tube in when i get it. the only problem i found was that u could see the tube from the outside and since coppers dont like direct light i have used grey electric tape.....same colour as the interier........to hide the tube it doesnt shine as much light but reflects off the roof and well everywhere im realy proud of my neon especialy when the next one cums. but all i wanna know is. is it legal. Ive been pulled over twice just for being a teenager in an expensive looking car. i dont want anymore coppers flashin their lights at me.

if there hidden its less likely you will get a pull, and if you do get nicked you can quickly switch them off and say it was your glovebox light;)

I just got my Varad LEDs. I don't have a bodykit and a garage is installing them on sat, but in the mean time does anyone know whereabouts they can be mounted? I had a look under the bonnet and theres not too many places evident to fit them!!

1996 Fiat Brava 1.4 SX,
De-badged,
Blue Varad LED neons (Yet to be installed),
Go faster stripes,
Momo Combat Evo gear knob,
Churchill Nodding Dog.... Oh Yesss!

On the way;
White Spectrum Windscreen Wiper Blades
Kenji Door writing Decals
Fido Dido rear windscreen tattoo
Radecal Fireball Bonnet Decal
More LED's then you can shake a soggy stick at

thanx dudes but now its been a month since i got my neons i have um on the inside of the pilars on the interior and way more darted all over the place but what is cool is a pair of LEDS witch are mounted on the front of the car under the bumper they shine onto the floor and its a simple way of stoppin coppers from havin a willy. i hav had many coppers pass me but no one bothers me. i supose if i was to speed it would be a different story.
