Hi last nite i locked my bravo using the remote central locking key which also sets the alarm. As i came back later on i to unlock my car using the key it wudnt work so i unlocked the car by putting the key in the door. i opend the door and obviously the alarm went off. Because none of the keys were working to turn the alarm off i was stuck with it going off for about 10 mins. I got the car home but now the alarm light wont stop flashing and the remote central locking wont work. Ive also tried changing the batteries in the remote which didnt work. Could anyone help me please?

if you have 2 small keys they are the alarm master keys. you can use this key to switch the alarm off. the switch is where the fusebox is, behind that cover in front of the driver's right knee.

the remote usually stops working when the soldered joints on the switch snap. a quick touch with a soldering iron on the joints (4 of them) should sort that out.

however if the remote's LED is flashing it means the remote is working and the problem is with the receiver in the car.

i guess you dont have the spare remote key?

Check Jugs approach then mine. :)

This has worked in the past on a Bravo and Alfa, but try disconnecting the battery -ve and +ve and touch both cables together -ve and +ve. Wait 5mins, then reconnect the battery and try the alarm again.

Thanks for your help but ive used that key 2 completly turn the alarm off. When i put it back on againt the alarm will just go off, well when i move, but the remote wil stil not work. Any more ideas?
