Hi guys I just broke the headlights on my bravo and i thought seeing as i have to replace them i might as well replace them with the marea units does anyone know where i can get a good second hand set in south east london?

Get yourself to a scrap yard they are around £20 - £30 a pair. £60 is just a rip off and ebay is even more of a rip off.

The problem is like i said to jug all the scrappies ive been to near me only have the brava/o lights and i also havent really got much time on my hands at the moment but in all honesty i logged onto www.247spares.co.uk and £60 sounds a whole lot cheaper than £235.71

MountainMachine no offense but with you saying you aint got them yet and the person is holding them for you sure sounds like your getting yours from the scrappy aswell. Afterall you've recently fitted your marea lamps so no need for these, but easily found a way to make some profit. I can honestly say your not selling them for the price you bought them for. No offense mate, plus im not bothered if you are making money from it. Im sure you aint looked hard enough for marea lamps to get them for £20 -£30 a pair.

I mean also these Part CD's and DVD's your selling, they are freely available and theres even online ePER catalogues. I bet your not even selling recent part CD/DVDs.

No i'm not selling them for the price i'm paying for them. Just like you didnt sell the marea grill for the price you paid. These are rare items, i took me ages to find mine, and these are in even better condition than mines were. At the end of the day i'll be making about £10-12. For finding, removing, cleaning, and posting.

I paid £45 for mine, and thought that was quite reasonable, but had to make do with 2 different lights and swap a few bits about to make them the same clips etc. I'm forcing no one to take them.. just like my Panda Haynes manual, i say in the ad, if you can find it on eBay cheaper, then get it! Ok i dont say that in the ad, but same goes.

Like i said i aint bothered if you are making money on them, just stating they are pretty cheap at the scrap yard.

Also what Marea Grille are you talking about?

What version are your Part DVDs?

Irrespective of the price please let me know when you get them cos at the end of the day it will save me from running around all over london wasting fuel trying to get a set of lights from the quotes ive been getting, i think the price you mentioned is very reasonable.:D

Was it not you who got the chrome'd marea grill's from polland?

Ohh and on the parts cd/dvd bit, i have told various people about the online EPER, and i personally dont use it because its slow etc. In fact i prefer the old style cd (v35) as it runs without internet etc and is quite fast and easy to use. Ok so some of the prices are a little out of date, but i make that clear as to the pros and cons. The dvd is March 2005. Would you like that i give them away for free? I would dearly love too, but i have to recover some of the cost it cost me in the first place, after all someone at this moment is selling eper for £15 on FF.

I reccon it costs me about 90p-£1 including paypal fees, postage, envelope, disc + sleeve etc. eBay search shows cheapest to be £3.25. So buys me half a pint. (y)

I'm not in it to rip people off, just to help fellow FF members, and if i had a huge rush on them then sure i'd donate back to the forum.

And for those that dont know online eper link is here:

That is a slow online ePER but not the one i am on about as its just as fast as if you had it on the PC. I was wondering what the version was as i could do with a 2007 version but i aint paying £15 for it as mentioned.

I did sell the Marea Chrome Grille eventually on Ebay but it was a bid format not a buy it now. It could of gone for 99p if nobody was interested. I wasnt in for making profit. Guaging interest to see whether i should buy some more.

No i dont have 2007, looks as if it expires etc. :yuck: Or requires activation..

At the mo i'm on the lookout for the Punto Mk2 pdf workshop manuals, as though i was getting it but turned out not to be as descibed! (n) Had a copy of Autodata 2004 so managed to get the info i needed out of that.

That'd be great, i'll do the same, this is the thing i got, already had a copy, its ok, as in you eventually get the info you need and explains things very simply, but is a horrid interface.

Although the funny thing is it looks like its made by FIAT... a bit worrying if thats the interface they have to use. Mind you VADIS isnt any better for the Volvo!

something offtopic lol.. haha.

i reccoment the upgrade to marea mate ;) the light is crisper and when the units are clean etc they look well smart :D
