(G) Reversing Lights

Hi All,

My Reversing lights on my Brava 1.6 100HSX don't work The bulbs appear to be ok, but from what I can gather the same fuse also works other lights... is this right? if it is then I don't think it is the fuse as only my reversing lights don't work. Any ideas?

Try the top left fuse of the 2 x 6 set in the fusebox. According to my sheet it is a 7.5 amp and works the reverse lights and the climate control - sounds wrong to me but might as well check if that fuse is ok.

If not I'd check the wires going into the light cluster with a voltmeter, that's easy enough but I guess the other thing that might go wrong is the switch attached to the gearbox somewhere, I've not looked where it is though

on the gearbox there is a reverse light switch, which turns the reverse light on. check that its wire plug is connected securely, and it has power going to it. also try sticking a piece of wire between the contacts on the wiring plug to see if that switches the reverse light on (it should).
