I thought i read a whole post about fitting HID the other day onto a Bravo???

there's also a good post that settled the legality issue once and for all. its illegal, end of. although that does not mean you cant get away with it. it simply means if you get caught you will be fined and given a vehicle defect notice and 14 days to remove your HID's. or you will fail your MOT until they are removed, although thats less likey as MOT testing stations are rarely up to date with things like this, and rarely care, and even if they do you can usually ask nicely and slip them a tenner and all is forgotten. (HID should be treated the same as tinted windows)

but i also agree that the standard units are terrible. and some form of driving with better light needs to be found?

what is the brightest (best) normal bulbs we can fit? (legally)

I am others have found the Philips Vision Plus 50%+ ones to be the best, there are a new set 70%+ but at the moment only for sale in Japan etc. Someone imported them and said they were good but there not E marked yet so illegal i suppose!

thats what i use, and tbh i dont need anything better. my polyelliptical main beams are good because no matter how bright my bults are the light will not shine onto other driver's eyes (if adjusted correctly). the line between light and dark is exectly that, a perfect line, no light scatter at all. i think all cars should have polyelliptical main beams and then we could have brighter bulbs no problem.

Yup just like the Audi's etc, a nice perfect line theres light there isnt! Just what you want! Why FIAT didnt fit these to all our cars i dont know and was asked the very question while fitting them, whith my friends saying if this is the top Bravo why doesnt it have the best lights etc in the range... just banter but was a very valid question.

i've asked myself the same question more than once.
