My brava 18elx now keeps blowing its heated rear window 30a fuse, obviously a short somewhere but anyone got any idea of where it could be?

Also the headlight washer pump needs replacing, Halfords don't list it but do have quite a range, any ideas on whether they'll fit as I really don't want to go main dealer!

the rear window might be caused by the contacts between the boot and the cill overheating and melting, as happened my car! as for the headlight washer, i haven't had the misfortune for that to break (although it's about the only thing that hasn't) a scrapyard would be the place to go for one of those. i'd imagine the Fiat Marea uses the same pump as headlight washers are more common on mareas.

found the problem, a small piece of the positive wire in the hatch had worn through to the wire, hence a nice way to earth for the current.
