in future always state the model and year (e.g. 1.6sx 1998) because torque setting (and everything else) can be model specific.

i dont have the torque setting for the rocker cover bolts with me at work, but a haynes manual will state it. to be honest you dont need to get the exact torque setting, its more important that you tighten the bolts in the correct order, and in stages. haynes will tell you exactly how to do it.

with the power steering pump, there are a variety of pumps used depending on model.

on all models the basic approach to removal is to:
1. empty fluid reservoir using syringe
2. disconnect fluid inlet and outlet pipes from pump
3. remove O/S wheel arch liner
4. slacken aux belt tensioner and remove belt
5. remove pump pulley
6. undo bolts securing pump to bracket
7. remove pump

when you refit the pump all you need do is top up the reservoir with new fluid, then start the car and let it run for a few seconds, then open the reservoir and top up again. this is all that is required, althought it may be worth while checking the level after a small amout of driving in case it needs topping up slightly.
