right i have changed stalks and thats not the problem they will work fast or all the way up wont work on the other 2 settings any ideas need help asap

the relay is next thing to try. i'm not sure if the relay was on the main fusebox, or on the wiper motor. haynes will tell you. i havent got mine handy at the minute.

does anybody know where the relay is for the wiper settings are and air bag light has come on now if i take bulb out will it still pass a mot or not

you can pass an MOT even with the airbag light remaining on, an airbag has nothing to do with your MOT. it has probably come on because you had the key in the ignition while you were removing the stalk assembly. fiat can reset it to turn it off, costing approx £65.

is there no way of a normal person like of getting it off

pull the LED out, you cant reset the airbag ecu without a fiat/alfa examiner smart machine. most 3rd party tools cant access the airbag module, although you could try asking about to see if anyone else can do it for cheaper. make sure they agree it is free if they cant do it, most places charge for their time, not for a successful diagnosis.
