I have an S plate 1.4 Bravo. Recently I have been having the odd problem starting and with the Injection System warning light.
When I turn the ignition key, the engine doesn't fire up. Instead it get this low buzzing sound, though the rev counter needle moves when I press the accelarator.
The engine will start on the 3rd or 4th attempt, however when this happens the warning light stays on. At first I put this down to he cold weather as this would happen in the mornings and late evening. This problem has only been occuring for the last 3 weeks or so.
However last night, this problem occured again and after I had stopped for petrol, the engine did't start first time, in fact it took 4 or 5 attempts. This blows my cold weather theory out of the water I figure.
Does anyone have a similar experience to me and have a fix before I throw myself at the mercy of a mechanic
