Hey,

To be honest, i am sick of my changer being in the boot. It recently got damaged because things in the boot were hitting it, and the discs were jumping all of the time. I have now had it fixed, i dont even have it properly housed in the boot and it doesnt jump at all! I am wanting to put it under the seat in the front, or in the glovebox or something (providing it would fit)

Does the wire easily feed from in the boot into the car? I was looking last night (in the dark mind) to see if i could somehow pul it through, but it seemed to disappear up into the plastic section under the rear speakers hahaha.

Another question is, the person who had the car before me must have some how damaged the side "bumper" things, the black plastics, how he has tried to mend this with glue but it looks a mess, i have a Marea sitting there and ive noticed the rubber strips are pretty much the same, would it be much would to take it off and put them onto Marea? and will they be same size... also what would you suggest to keep them on with, as superglue tends to make an un-fixable mess LOL

Not sure if the Brava has this, but on the Bravo you can mount a CD changer under the rear seats. This involves alot less hassle ripping out the wire to get to the front seats or glovebox as you originally intended.

Theres a letter box sized hole under the rear seats in the Bravo and the CD changer sits in there fine. I used strong Velcro strips to hold it in place. Holds perfect. Never skips. :)

Regards to the door moulding strip i would measure them 1st to make sure they are the same size, but just so you know if you bend it slightly it'll not sit flush when refitted to your car. Always best buying new. You can stick it using TigerSeal (I think) which most bodyshops use to stick spoiler and side skirts on.

buy the door strips new..they have a self-adhesive strip on the back of them and a small pin (cant think of anything else to call it) that clips into the body work!don't think they cost much either!!they look rubbish if they aren't perfectly straight!!

would mounting the CD changer under the seat cause overheating problems for the unit?
