I recently taked to my mechanic about adding an induction kit, and he didnt advise it, he prefered adding a chip.
So, what do you think guys? i want something that will boost up the HP by at least 20 bhp or more, without ruining the engine.

Thank you for your time
If you are interested, I have a ported and flowed head and re-profiled cams for your engine and can make you a proper induction kit. As far as I know Supersprint still supplies the full erxhaust system for it (but I stand to be corrected). Can sort further modifications inclusive of re-mapping.

Pete if you can remap the standard ECU on the MK2 1.6 without changing the chip I have an shed load for you for that ECU - we wont touch it these days!

(Not if you are getting this done by a 3rd party though, for obvious reasons!)

Have you told all the Stilo boys yet as your hands are about to be bitten off!?!?

Can you do one for me next week if I popped down with one?

Does it have to be next week? Gaydon is coming up and I am trying to get a few of the 27 new induction kits sorted. I will be able to do things after Gaydon.

Only interested in remapping (dont think you can rechip the mk2 ECU) The mk1 is rechip and you can do that easy enough, its the later MK2 ECU that everyone needs a solution for and the Stilo, Multipla etc etc

I don't need the mapping done, I just need the original read off then the modified put back on of course. Will only need about 10 mins of your time
:-D

Re: Adding Horsepower to My Bravo

I am off to do a group Fiat session in France tomorrow Pete, so please email me a day week after next when I can come down and get this programing done as October is Merc month and I want to strike this off the list before then.

I have told a few people that GSR are doing the 1.6 already, as you have advised that you can do these, so if you could get this one done for me then we will send them your way!

One of us might see you at Gaydon if time permits, it wont be me though as I am oop North at a show :-(

Re: Adding Horsepower to My Bravo

Bump

I havent heard anything from you yet Peter.

I assume as you own the kit and are doing it yourself, that you will have the kit on site, so can I drop down anytime and get it done? As I said, I dont need the mapping done by yourself as I can do that, just need you to write to the ECU

Sorry, I was overly busy. Someone is pushing me very hard for the 2.4 Stilo induction. The tooling is a nightmare and I am just back from test fitting and testing the Stilo 1.6 induction kit.

I will be back to you during the week after Gaydon.

BTW, the Stilo 1.6 increased peak power by 13bhp with induction alone before mapping. Downfall on the 1.6 is that mapping doesn't get the car much further because cam is poor design.
