Hello All,

My mother is rebuilding her 1979 Fiat Spider 2000 engine in Switzerland. She has tracked down all the Torque values for the various components in German but they are having some difficuly with the Translation of a couple items. Does anyone have a link to a site that might have the information, or would someone be willing to Scan their Shop manual specs.

The original FIAT Factory Shop Manuals are "the real thing" as provided by the Fiat factory to their dealers and service departments when the cars were being sold. Factory Shop Manuals have comprehensive repair instructions, hundreds of pictures and illustrations and complete technical specifications for each model. Nearly three inches thick and hundreds of pages, each has a wealth of information that is available nowhere else!

Everything from basic maintenance, tune-up, detailed repair procedures to complete overhaul for all components are completely described. BROOKLANDS SERVICE MANUAL FOR FIAT SPIDER

Formerly known as the Clymer brand of manual, this covers all 1971 to 1984 models very well. Though not quite as detailed as the Factory Original Manual, it's a valuable compilation of service and diagnostic procedures written with the amateur mechanic in mind. Hundreds of pictures and illustrations with full technical specifications and test procedures including the fuel-injected and turbo models.
