Advice please peeps.
105 JTD.
Since wedsday my injector light has been coming on intermittantly(?)i did a search here & from wat i read, got a bottle of cleaner which i put in the tank.
i have waited a couple of days before posting to see if it would turn off.
but it is still coming on sometimes.

P.S.forgot to say that the car is running the same & it does`nt seem to be drinking fuel.

The injector light doesn't imply its the injectors. Its basically the warning light, or engine warning light. It can be anything thats caused the problem. Take it fiat for a diagnostic. I know it costs but you wont really know whats wrong until you do.

yep, its worth getting a diagnosis done before you go spending any money. i've seen people replace sensors willy nilly trying to put a light out and it can very quickly become an expensive waste of time. if there's no noticable difference to the engine's running its usually a dodgy wire on one of the sensors, or a dirty sensor, basically the ecu has noticed that one of the signals its recieving has gone "out of range" which means its a value that isnt expected by the ecu. a rusty connector could drop the voltage going back to the ecu for example. it may be worth checking and cleaning sensor connectors if you want to try something before you take it to a garage. most independant garages will have the equipment needed to do a diagnostics check so dont feel as though you need to go to fiat, last time i got a quote from a fiat dealer they said it would depend on how long it took but it would be at least £40 + VAT. i got it done for £30 all inclusive round the corner so shop about.

Ok this is weird?filled up the tank to the brim last week BUT the gauge only indicated to the mark Before full.was going to post cause i thought it could be the tank sensor.
anyway run the car till it was showing the empty light & on the way home from work wanted to fill it up again @ a certain garage as the diesel is cheapest there(as shown by petrolprices.com).
so i drove for about 10miles with the light on then filled it again to full BUT this time the gauge showed Full & now the injector light has gone?is there a connection here?
JoskeJTD & jug thanx for the replys & will keep wat you sed in mind but hopefully(fingers crossed)my car seems ok now.

I cant see the petrol guage being connected to the light however it is a Fiat. My guess simply would be the car just needed a good run and a full tank of fuel certainly does that. :)

even the manual says this happens sometmies and is nothing to worry about if the light goes out and doesnt come back on. if its in the manual it must happen often enough to be worth a mention
