My passenger side dipped headlight bulb has gone and need to replace it but i'm not sure how your meant to do it, there appears to be clips holding the front of the headlamp on - do i just take them off and go at it from the front or is it meant to be done from the rear of the light as with the rear lights

Thanks in advance

No man, you need to do it from inside the bonnet, I just did it two days ago.
You open the bonnet and look at the headlight from inside, the dipped bulbs are on the outer side of the headlight (I mean towards the indicators, to your left). You will see a plastic box or housing, you can open it by releasing the latch....
Inside you'll see a wire conected to the bulb, first you pull the connector. After that you'll see the bulb held by a small pin-like metal, you unhook it and remove the bulb.... You replace the bulb and put the pin-like hook which holds the bulb in place and re install the wire connector, then the plastic housing..... That's it.

Can you tell if is it the black plastic connector for the dipped headlight bulb?

Seems quite difficult to pull out so i just want to make sure it is that one and that i dont just break something

There are two areas for lights - the main beams are under the smaller grey covers towards the outside of the car, dipped beams are under the larger grey covers towards the middle of the car. With the grey cover off, pull the black connector out (it will be hard) then unclip the bulb with the metal clip. And reverse to replace :D You will have to tug pretty hard as they tend to stick - adding a small amount of vaseline to the connector on the bulb before you put it back in can help pevent it sticking again. Remember to replace your bulbs in pairs (y)

Hey Helz, are you sure about that? In my car it's the opposite: the main beam bulbs are toward the middle of the car and the dipped toward the outside. I'm pretty sure about it.

Thanks for all your helps guys

So long as we can confirm its the black plastic connector and that it is supposed to be difficult to take out (which i think has been done above) then I should be okay

Thanks again

Now I'm 10000% sure, the main bulb is towards the middle of the car and has the smaller cap. The dipped are towards the exterior of the car with the bigger cap, just open the cap and pull out the connector.... Tell me if you find it a bit brownish from heat.
Cheerz.
